Colonel Tate grew up in a variety of locations around the world as an Air Force dependent. In 1988 she earned distinguished graduate from the Reserve Officer Training Corps and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the USAF. Colonel Tate served in a wide variety of clinical and leadership positions at medical facilities in the United States, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom. She earned her right to VFW membership by deploying in support of both Operation Desert Storm & Afghanistan. She currently serves as the Commander of VFW Post 1446, Red Lion, PA. Additionally she serves as the adjutant for PA District 21. She is married to Chief Master Sergeant (USAF Ret) Daryl E. Webb, Trustee VFW Post 1446, Red Lion, PA.

14.July 2012 – 10 July 2015, Commander, 579th Medical Group, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. : Commanded 350 personnel in 4 squadrons and oversaw a dental residency program. Lead USAF representative to the NCR health consortium.

Deputy Chief of Staff-Support & Coalition Force Theater Surgeon, Resolute Support (RS), Kabul Afghanistan: As the COCOM RS special advisor, she provides counsel to Commander RS and oversaw all issues related to coalition care, theatre force health protection and readiness, the development of ANDSF medical capabilities, and the advancement of the Afghan civilian health system. She also oversaw medical care in seven Role 2, and two Role 3 facilities ensuring appropriate medical assets are available for coalition forces deployed across Afghanistan.

military healthcare facility inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and laws
